HM's annual medical review
Royal Announcement
Puggingham Palace
Puggingham Palace
Today, HM Queen Puggles, QOP, SRA, ETC. paid her annual visit to the Royal Jackson County Veterinary Clinic for her annual medical review and vaccinations. HM encourages all her subjects to get an annual review and keep current on their vaccinations.
HM was declared in quite good health but was told she was a tad fluffy. This was attributed to the terrible winter that prevented the usual number of walkabouts. Her Dr encouraged her to walk daily and not demand treats from Mr Pettit next door as often. Her small growths were again declared of no concern and the Dr also performed some personal grooming and health procedures. The Dr again told HM she needed to have some dental care. This is being evaluated by the Palace Staff for future consideration.
After visits to all the office staff and a short limo ride back to the palace. HM is taking a day of rest from her duties.

Well done Your Royal Highness. Perhaps you would care for some special treat treats geared toward Dental Health? We partake of them (they come from the vet) but alas, our staff is unable to remember what they are called and must research further when she goes home tonight.

Sounds like a good report! I hope she gets the dental treament. It is so important to keep her teeth clean, but also important for her inner organs for her teeth & gums to not become infected!
If I may ask, how old... oops, I mean YOUNG HM is now??

I would expect nothing less!! Her staff has been commanded to provide exemplary care to the Queen of course, and if he doesn't want to end up in the tower, he knows what's good for him!

Sounds like a successful vetrinary visit. The dental is a great idea. I'm so glad my pugs had dentals done last month.

HM will be 11 in April. I think I will schedule a dental here soon... but I am so leery of them.
Re: HM's annual medical review
Penny Lane here. HM looks wonderful in your avatar, and I am very glad that her visit to the royal dogtor went well. My momma gives me Zukes Z-Ridge bones, and they help, besides being yummy and fun to chew on.

Your Majesty:
We are all delighted to hear of your excellent veterinary report. I would like to humbly suggest myself as a possible swain for you, a Royal Consort.
I have impeccable breeding and am even tattooed and registered with the Canadian Kennel Club. I'm a pug of dignity and character inspite of my somewhat pedestrian name of Tank. I am known in the CKC records a Sir Pugsalot.
I am going to be 11 in July, could use a dental and am also a tad fluffy. I think I would be a suitable companion.
Tank.

Re: HM's annual medical review
I am happy to see the HM has had a good report from the dogtor. Mr. Ty is due for his annual visit after the 1st of April. He is so fearful of being told that he is getting much to "fluffy." Those yummy cereal treats & other goodies may become a thing of the past.
Welcome Don and Her Majesty, Miss Puggles.

Me too :( I know they are needed, but hate to do it.
Other than that, sounds like a great visit.

Me too. Toby had a dental (and some teeth removed) before we adopted him. Freddy Jones has never had one. They don't have death breath and are pretty active chewers, so I think we're okay for now.
