Talk about a bad day....

Yesterday was one of those days when one thing after another just sucked.

Rebecca emailed me in the morning and told me she was worried about Pugsley and asked if I could go check on him. I headed down to her place.
I'm at the off ramp when I hear breaks screeching, look behind me to see a car rear end me. The rear fender is dented but driveable..this is my first accident...we exchange info and I head down to Rebecca's.

When I get there, Pugsley is doing pretty good. I feed him some of my home cooked food and he eats it up. I give Pugsley, Peachy and Bubba these freeze dried beef treats which they all love. All of a sudden Peachy starts foaming at the mouth and falls over...she's choking on the treat. I try to force her mouth open to get the treat and she bites down...hard. I finally get my finger out and I have 2 nice puncture wounds which are bleeding profusely. All I can think about is Rebecca asks me to look after Pugsley and I kill Peachy. I start heimliching her and after the 4th try, she was fine.

Then we take Pugsley to the vet and I really thought we could treat him and instead we ended up having to put him to sleep. I am a total and freaking mess having just lost my Bailey a little over 2 weeks ago. And I really loved Pugsley. He gave me little kisses just a bit before we had the vet do the deed. I really suck at that putting them down stuff so bad.

Today I've got a really sore jaw, neck and back. Went to the Dr. and she wants me to do physical therapy in about a week.

Sigh...I need a break. And maybe to win the lottery...

It was an awful day all the way around. I am sorry all of those things happened. Yesterday SUCKED!!!

Oh, I'm so sorry! All of that sounds rough. I'll say a little prayer for the lottery for you.

Roxane, that's a LOT of horrible things to happen in one day! I hope things start to go better and you don't have too much soreness from your accident and that your finger is ok. The other stuff is just horrible to deal with period.

What a totally miserable day, Roxanne. The universe owes you a super-special good day sometime to counterbalance that one. I hope today has been a bit better for you and I was very sorry to hear about Pugsley.
