SC-Pug in need of Rescue-Urgent?

Post  Saira on 3/10/2010, 11:05 pm

Is there a rescue in SC? This was sent to me, and also posted on facebook:

Pearl is a very sweet 3 yr old pug. She came into the shelter last week.Well, over the weekend, Pearl got really sick. She began vomiting…and she can’t keep food down. The vet believes she has pyometra and needs to be spayed right away.

I believe another rescue got her. SEPRA did get the info and called on her but I am pretty sure another rescue did get her.

Awesome, thanks Deanna! If you hear anything, let me know. The note says a rescue was supposed to get in her in 2 weeks but now the situation is urgent with the pyometra, but I wasn't sure if that was accurate or updated.

Green Mountain Pug Rescue posted to one of the rescue lists that I'm on that she is safe & they are going to take her. She does not have pyometra - it turns out, she's diabetic.
