Stolen Pugs!! Punky was Found!!

I just got a phone call from my friend that gave me Sue-Shi. My friend has been having back problems and she sent Sue-Shi's mom (unknown age, she was a pregnant stray) and her brother (6 months old) to her (friend's) mom's house for her mom to care for during her recovery. Her mom let the two pugs out in the fenced yard to play and someone stole them. They were not stolen the same day and they did see two girls steal one of the pugs. A police report has been filed. Sue-Shi's mom still has hanging teats and her brother has a small amount of mange on his legs and head. They are both fawn. They are missing from the Combee area of Lakeland. I would appreciate if you could forward this to other boards and pug people in the Lakeland, Florida area. I can be contacted via email at sabra41374 at hotmail dot com if anyone hears anything. I will have pictures as soon as my friend gets them to me.

UGH, I so hate reading posts like this. I so hope someone comes clean and these pugs find their way home.

This is "Punky" he's 6 months old, has some dark balding patches on legs and top of head. He is on meds for the mange so I can't stress enough how urgent it is to get him back. He was taken from Golfview St. off on N. Combee Rd. in Lakeland. please spread word with friends and neighbors. The mom "Chata" was taken from that location also a few months ago, nowhere to be found! My friend's grandmother is very sad with this news.If you hear anything please email sabra41374 at hotmail dot com



ETA: I didn't know the mom has been gone for a couple months, I'm just finding this out.

I will keep both in my prayers for a safe return, so sad.....

I know. I'm so angry that I'm just finding out. I don't know why they let them out unsupervised in the first place and then to do it twice! The grandmother, who owned the puppy, saw two girls take him. I'm sure Chata will never be found, but hopefully Punky will be or at least found their way to a good home.

Oh no. Here's hoping for a happy outcome.

I just got an email from Wendi at CFPR regarding a pug at the pound. The pound had him listed as a senior, but I knew as soon as I saw the picture that it was Punky!! Someone stole him and the Sheriff's department found him wandering on the other side of town. My friend's mom is on her way to go pick him up. I told her to please tell her mom to not let the dogs out alone anymore!! I'm so relieved.

Now, hopefully Chata will be found safely too.

He has a little bit of mange so I think they didn't want to deal with it and dumped him. Whatever the reason, I'm glad he's home safely. Hopefully Chata will join him, but it's doubtful since she's been gone a while.

People never cease to amaze me....but not in a good way.
