Today's show.

Post  Snifter&Toddy on 9/26/2009, 10:57 am

I took Toddy for a proper ringcraft course last weekend. He was
unbelieveably naughty. The trainer could not believe his antics. He was
doing ANYTHING not to have to do what we wanted him to. By the end of
the class we had got him concentrating more.

Anyway it got the wind up me because a friend wants me to handle her
pug puppy in October and I was scared he might act up like Toddy.

There was a companion dog show on locally so I suggested to my friend we take our pugs along and see what happened.

Her pug would not go with me at all. Would not even walk with me. Just
wanted his mum. So I made her take him round the puppy class and he won!

Snifter was in Open and came 4th against some very stiff competition.
He went round like a pro, bless him, and the Dobermann that won was an
absolute stunner.

Toddy was a revelation. He was in AV Toy & Utility and he came second! I couldn't believe how well he behaved. Bless him.

So my friend and I are very happy indeed.

Wow Bella, I don't think I could show. I'd be too nervous and mess up the dogs! Sounds like a good day, congrats
