That is a shame, Hilary, I have a feeling that Nellie was growing on you. You got her off to a good start, though, and she will find her perfect furever home.

I'm sorry things didn't exactly go perfectly with fostering Nellie. It takes a strong foster mom to be able to do what is best for all dogs involved, though. You gave Nellie a great start to her new life, and we know Candace will continue your hard work. Good luck with the new boy foster. Fingers crossed Tina is more accepting.

Thanks for all the positive comments on my caring for Nellie. She is continuing to lose weight.

There were a few problems, at first. She bit right through Mookie's ear and tried to attack him a couple of other times. She seems to be an anxious girl, but settling in. She tried to attack a german sheppard, at the dog park. Luckily the german sheppard handled it really well.

I had a foster a few years ago (Newton, who was also a tubby pug), who would do the same thing. It took a lot of time, for him to get comfortable with other dogs. He did come around and so will Nellie!

I am so grateful to Candace for agreeing to take Nellie. She's in great hands.
