I Submitted Rescue Applications

Post  Millie'sMichael on 1/10/2012, 10:36 am

Hi everybody. Just wanted to let you know that I've submitted applications to SEPRA and Mid Atlantic Pug Rescue. It has been almost a year since Millie died, and I think it's time for another pug or two to come live with me.

The funny thing is, I'm just as nervous about this as I was before I got my first pug! I think it's because Millie was such a good and easy pug to have around. Let's hope I'm so lucky again. I don't mean to say that I want the new pug to be a second Millie. It's just the anticipation of the unknown...

So...I appreciate your good thoughts and vibes that my application will be approved and that my search will end well. Keep your eyes open too, and let me know if you know about some other pug that might want to come live in DC! Thanks!

Everything crossed for the right pug to come along, Michael! I'm sure Millie will have a paw in it, somehow.

Yea, I'm happy that you are ready. I was very nervous when Stewie came to live with me, Rupert was a hard act to follow in so many ways I was afraid I would somehow be disappointed.

You love each pug differently and entirely.

I will keep my eyes open for you.

I think it's wonderful that you're ready to open your heart and home to another pug, or pugs. No matter what I'm sure they will be very special and loved beyond belief.

Well, your app is already approved with SEPRA! We just need to find you the right pug (or two!)

Oh, and we will still do a home check etc.

Man oh man, Michael, there's some very lucky Puggy (or two Very Happy ) out there! This is great news!

And Brenda, I bet you had to really, REALLY think about his application. Pass it around amongst the board and consider if it was acceptable. And that would have taken a whole NANO-SECOND to approve! Laughing

Can't wait for updates, Michael and Brenda!cheers

Michael, this is so exciting. There is some lucky pug/s that are just waiting for a great owner/servant like you. No doubt Millie will send along some good karma to SEPRA to help in the decision. Do keep us all updated.
