Seattle

Post  Stitch Chan on 2/4/2012, 7:35 pm

Are there any members living in the Seattle area? Were gonna be transferring to Seattle for separation from the navy we will be there for about a week, and will probably need some help in locating a good spot for our furkids since they cant stay in the hotel with us.

I know its asking allot, were really nervous about transporting our kids, and don't want to overly stress them out if we don't have to.

Any help would be great.

Theresa/Fursprinklers and Katie/katieandstella are both in that area and both are as kind and helpful as the day is long. I am sure they will see your post and give you good advice.

Agreed, I hope things work out. Are you going to be there for a while?

Hi there! When will you be in Seattle? I live down in Portland (about 3 hours away). Are you looking for a boarding facility or a hotel that takes dogs?

Hotel that allows dogs would be the best more than likely, boarding facility if we can't find anything else! I do really appreciate any help we can get, this is the most stressful part of our move making sure our kids are taken care of!

Are there allot of hotels that allow dogs in the US?

Penny and I stayed mostly in La Quinta Inns and in Marriott hotels during our six cross-country trips. I checked the websites, and Marriott has 22 dog-friendly hotels in the Seattle area, and La Quinta has 8. I'd also check www.dogfriendly.com. Motel 6 is also dog-friendly, but the few times we've stayed there, we found the rooms less than comfortable. One night, I swear there was a hooker next door, charging by the hour. Rolling Eyes
