The "seniors rule" comment got me a lot of flack from the teen who told me I was "really embarrassing".

Honestly, Hilary, this is a truly delightful little dog. He's just no trouble at all--he goes to the park, goes for walks, is completely house broken and doesn't really shed and just wags that tail like mad everytime he sees us. We're totally smitten by him--which is good since he could end up here forever.
Re: Link for Animal House Calls show
Very well done! I loved Theo's gaint yawn somewhere in the middle there.

Love it! Great job Blanche. Theo is adorable. Love how you talked about how he really isn't much extra work while so many others think he may be.

If only people would just give seniors a try, they'd be sold. He's not alot of extra work. None of my seniors have been and when they were, it was a sheer pleasure to do whatever made their lives easier. Yes, Bob pooped on the bed every night. Yes, Maude wouldn't go down stairs and had to be carried. Yes, Tank has his issues and I have to watch him, but that's hardly alot of work.
Theo is easy peasy. If folks would just see that, they'd end up with a fantastic little dog who is low key, happy to be around and doesn't need much in way of basic care.

Yes, I went back to longer hair. Tucker started calling me Eraser Head when I had my short spikey do--rotten kid.

Do what we do, when the youngsters have too much opinion!
"Whatever!"

Ohhh yay!! I can't wait to watch it when I get home!! No YouTube here at work.
Re: Link for Animal House Calls show
When my kids were at their most annoying (early-to-mid teen years) I LOVED to embarrass them! Made my day. After all, turnabout is fair play.
Theo is adorable - I know what you mean about elderly dogs - my Kerrie lived to be 13, and she was blind and had a number of health problems in her last years, but she'd given me 13 years of love, devotion, and when my first child was born (the dog was about 10 at the time), Teddie appointed herself the baby's guardian and slept under the crib every night and would check out every visitor before letting them near my daughter, even though she could not see. She'd growl at strangers until we told her it was OK. How can you not repay devotion like that?
I hope Theo has the good luck to find a wonderful forever home.....of course, it looks like he may already have done that, no?
