New Sadie pics

She was well enough to go to her foster home today so I picked her up. She looked 100000 times better than she did on Friday. At first she was a little nervous and was shaking but once I was in the car with her and started talking to her, she was happy, her tail was wagging, and she gave me kisses. So at least her first step is done, now once she starts healing we can figure out what is going on with her back legs-our vet said her spine looked good so it probably is either nerve damage or neurological. But she is on her way to a good life!

I thought I posted on this earlier She looks completely different. It is amazing how a pug's attitude can change how they look. Poor thing look scared and misrable before, now she looks so happy!!!

I know! And this is only 2 days post surgery so she obviously is still in pain but I think it still feels so much better than she did before. We are hoping she can regain some of her bladder control, but her foster home is awesome and will be working with her with her issues. And a lot of it will just take time, and a lot of TLC.

Nancy-she really DOES remind me of Penny, I was looking at the pics I had of Penny when we met you in Tonopah, and there is most definitely a resemblance!

Scary, isn't it? I'm not sure the world is ready for another black diva - but, then, if she's anything like Penny, she is totally loveable - for people, not necessarily for other furkids.

Thanks so much for the photos and update. Now I'm crying tears of relief and happiness for Sadie..

She's beautiful. It's amazing how much happier she looks already. Thank you to everyone involved.

I brought Zoe in to get her nails trimmed just so I could see Sadie too. She is such a sweet girl! I'm so happy she's feeling better.

What a darling girl she is. I'm so glad she's feeling better already.
