So Cal Pugs that need homes or fosters
Stephanie (Pigeon) has pulled a pug out of a shelter with a terrible skin infection. This is her note:
A few pictures:

Spring is actually doing well! She's on her antibiotics (for her skin) and anti-allergy meds. She doesnt have a URI or kennel cough but she's been sneezing abit so the vet gave her some pills assuming she has allergies.
The skin infection isn't bothering her at all. The doctor thinks that it might be a really bad side effect from an over the counter flea medication. She's doing very well and she's actually in the process of healing. Her skin scraping came out negative for parasites so we're just waiting for the fungus test results . The doctor doesn't think it's a fungal infection either since the infected area isn't shaped in a circle.
She seems like she's potty trained. She's VERY sweet, not very active either. She'll be getting spayed in a few weeks and once her skin looks better she'll be available for adoption :)

And this is the pug that becomes available today at the East Valley Shelter. Stephanie has no more foster homes for this one. :(

I have a friend in Long Beach who is looking to adopt a pug. I will send this to her on FB! Who would I have her contact for the first girl?

Aw, they both look so sweet. I hope that everything works out for the best for them both.

Lisa and Marci, let me know if nothing comes through for the female at the east valley shelter. I can try to get her placed with either PNP or San Diego -- I think either rescue may be willing to take her. If she's young and healthy, she'll be relatively easy to adopt through the rescues down here.
Lisa, East Valley is Van Nuys, right?

Just got off the phone with animal control. The girl has been adopted! Hopefully it was someone cool.

Stephanie would be the one to contact, but since she is new to PA, your friend can email me directly and I can pass her on. My email is lisacone (at) gmail.com. The rescue is www.happyendingrescue.org. However, the girl isn't even up on their site yet.

YAY! Although, there is a chance it was Stephanie who picked her up. I'll find out.

No, it wasn't me that rescued her. I was looking on the LA city shelter website this morning and she wasn't on the list anymore. I hope she went to a nice home!

So glad that the nameless girl got adopted - hope it is a good home. Spring is adorable - she kinda reminds me of Kimchi a little?

Stephanie also has 2 pugs coming in from Korea that need fosters/homes.
Name: Bee-dam
male, 7 kg (15.5 pounds)
age: about 1 yr and half
He's boarded at a private boarding kennel in Korea and does well with other dogs and he's very playful!
Currently on Evo dry food
Friendly to other dogs and people
Loves playing with toys and has LOTS of energy
Neutered
Healthy and up to date on all vaccinations and rabies
Will be getting mircochipped and a vet check up once he arrives in LA
scheduled to fly in LA on September 30th (Wednesday) and needs an immediate foster home since Stephanie is fostering Spring right now.

I'll put the second one in the next post.

This is Chan-Sung -- it means "I agree! in Korean :)
He's about 8 months old, still a puppy. he was rescued him a high kill shelter the first or second week of Sep. 2009
He's a very shy boy, probably abused by his previous owner. He needs a lot of time and patience so that he can come out of his shell. He's a very handsome and very sweet. He will definitely need a quiet home so that he can become more confident. Any loud noise can scare him and he can just freeze up and won't move if he's frightened.
He's currently boarded at the same private kennel as Bee-Dam.
His flight to LA isn't scheduled yet but if he finds a forever home soon or foster home in LA he can fly in ASAP.
He's healthy, neutered, up to date on all vaccinations and will be mircohipped when he arrives in LA.

OH my. I'm in love. Twice. They are such cuties! Too bad Penny is an only furchild (she won't tolerate another furkid).

Oh, such sweet boys!
I'll cross my fingers that they find foster/forever homes quickly.
