Just be carefull I have seen dogs become neurotic freaky jumpy dogs from a laser pointer. Any flash of any light makes them crazy. I have one, don't get me wrong, but I try to not over use it. I can see how it could go wrong fast!!!

Bozlee & Odie Mo & Diamond love to chase the pointer, but the other pugs ignore it... Go figure. *LOL*

But, like Marci said, it can be over-used, but I only use it about 1-2 times a month...

Agreed! We never used a laser pointer but Hoover used to love chasing the flashlight. As a result though, he became light obsessed and that can be a bad thing when the lights they obsess over are car headlights, fires in the fireplace, etc. I've heard some horror stories.

Right now I vote for a 2nd slightly younger pug for forced exercise But my 2nd choice would be energetic children. I send them all outside to do laps in the yard.

Yeah, the younger pug works great! My last foster, Zoe, had Hanky down 3-4 lbs when she left here from when she got here!!!
