Guess I'll be cleaning out from behind my dryer a bit more often. Shocked

I wrote that and I thought "Gee, I hope Sabra doesn't think I'm suggesting she's a slob!" Who cleans behind their dryer!!!!!! (And, when are they coming over to do mine?)

I didn't think that at all. It's not someplace that anyone normally sees. I usually keep the pugs out of there, but Dennis was moving the washer and dryer back in there and Sue-Shi snuck in. She's too fast to catch right now! I was busy cooking dinner and she came out with lint on her face and in her mouth. I just thought the benadryl would work by now.

I've found that sometimes it just works really slowly and it's subtle so you almost don't notice until it's almost done doing its thing. One time when Lucy puffed up and broke out into hives for some unexplained reason, I had to give her 2 doses, about 2 hours apart to get them to go away.

I don't really know but I'd vote for allergies as a rule-out first. You can try a double dose of Benadryl (really won't hurt dogs because their metabolisms are so fast) and wait and see how she is in the morning. Hope it's just an allergic reaction and she's better in the morning.

It looks a little better, but not much. The bumps are still there, just not as inflamed as last night. I'm going to give her another little bit of Benadryl and keep that up a couple times a day to see if it helps any. I'm getting some Salmon oil once Dennis gets home from work too.

I've given Penny 50 mg of Benadryl, and it doesn't seem to faze her. Hugs and hopes that SueShi is ok.

Thanks for the salmon oil recommendation, Blanche. I just got home with some and Mattie and Sue-Shi love it. Sue-Shi licked her bowl clean. Mack doesn't care for it too much, but he's picky with new stuff. I figured it wouldn't hurt Mack and Mattie to get some too and it might help with their itchy skin. I hope it helps them all and Sue-Shi clears up.
