Matilda isn't feeling well.
Today was a work from home day and I noticed her coughing a bit on and off. She's also acting pouty which I chalked up to diva-ness but may well be "I don't feel good". We're going to see the vet tomorrow morning just to be sure.

After typing that and taking the puglets outside, I was thinking that I'll let my kids cough for a week and hack up a lung and just "let their immune system handle it". Matilda coughs a little and I'm calling the doctor.

Hope it's nothing serious!
Only on a Pug forum could you make an admission about kids as opposed to Pugs!

Hope Matilda's feeling better very soon.
(And it's very true - I'll ignore things and refuse to go to a doctor until I have absolutely no choice, but Otto goes to the vet for anything that seems out of whack! What do they say about "a dog's life?"

Well we can decide if how we feel is enough for a doctor too, but they can't so I dont take not feeling well lightly.
Hope shes better soon!

I hope she is ok. Maybe just a little respiratory infection.... Let us know how she is doing.

Yep, some respiratory thing. Vet is leaning towards kennel cough and Bob as the nonsymptomatic carrier since Matilda hasn't been anywhere in quite awhile. Unless the cat that keeps showing up in the backyard could have brought it in the yard. We'll never know.
Doxycycline for 10 days and we'll go from there.

She should be fine in about a day. Mine got it from a foster and after a day of the meds they were noticably better!!! It does sound horrible though!
