I give up. He's ours

Don't say I didn't try. I did. Theo's been posted as ready for adoption since July, been on TV twice and I've done numerous mass emails to try and find this gent a home, but the fates have conspired to keep him here, I guess.

So hi ho, hi ho, it's over the by-limit I go.

That's how I ended up with Bill Bailey and Lacey. They'd been at my house so long and everything....didn't want to send Bill Bailey to his 7th home.....they know the routine at my house......guess they're staying.

Oh wow. I'm so surprised. Couldn't see that one coming. Gee whiz. What a shock.

Okay, I know you never intended for it to happen, but I know you love the little munchkin. He's one lucky little guy!

And as to being over the limit, surely Theo and Lola combined barely equal one dog? (Although I know Lola has the attitude of 100 pit-bulls and the bite of a great white...)

And I did. I really, really did. However, I knew when I agreed to foster him that his adoption chances were pretty slim so it's not that huge a surprise that he isn't going anywhere. He'll just have to legally be a permanent foster for now.

Boy I know that feeling! Theo's a lucky dog, he sounds like a great little dog and I am glad he is staying.

I have to stop fostering these old, "unadoptable" coots.

And I know that I'm preaching to the converted here, but this really is a very fine little dog. I wish people would give the older/not in perfect health dogs a chance. Their loss, my gain.

Don't worry about that limit thing, I am only supposed to have 4, and I have 9...so far. So silly too, we have 10 acres here and are allowed any number of liestock. So in Canada, just ignore the by-laws, they don't make sense anyway.

Congrats on your new little one, he is adorable
