What restaurants do fundraisers?

Post  Pugsavers on 5/4/2009, 6:33 pm

In the past, PugSavers held a fundraising night at Chevy's restaurants and made about $400 overall. Last year they were weird about it and didn't get one check for $89 to us for more than 9 months.

I'd like to do another one and was wondering if anyone knew which major chains do fundraising nights.

Thanks!

Hmmm.... around here, it's the local places that tend to do the fundraisers.

Not sure if you have them there, but "5 Guys" does them!

I know Cold Stone, Applebees, and Sweet Tomatoes do them around here!

In our town, Souplantation and Ruby Tuesdays. We had a recent fundraiser at Ruby Tuesday's for my MOMS group and they gave us 20% of proceeds -- each customer had to bring in a flyer in order for our group to get credit for the bill.

my college kiddos have a lot of luck with the more local places vs. the chains. Everyone goes in on a certain night and tells them they're with the organization, and the restaurant gives part of the proceeds to the org.

This has worked well at wing places, pizza joints, etc.

Yes but you can plant people outside the restaurant and give the entering customers the flyer. I do believe you need to be sly about this, but it helps bump up your numbers.

Burger King (not really a restaurant) does one here for the high school. I have also seen some more local restaurants do them.

I saw a sign at Joe's Crab Shack that they do the fundraiser nights too.
