I loooooove him! I wanted to take him home and pinch those cheeks! I picked up this guy today:


Came in with the name Patron (as in the rum), dad was named Whisky. So we changed it to Malone. He's super sweet and healthy (wowzers, rare!), and we think we have a home lined up by a previous adopter who has been waiting for a black male. He is at the vet and will be neutered then ready to go.

Also, we got word about a pug sighting at a school drainage ditch. We went there to try and catch it but there was no sign of it. The food the other lady had set out really didn't have much taken from it. We will check with Animal Control and the shelter to see if it was picked up but if you guys could spare a thought that we can find it and get it to a safe place, it would be much appreciated. Another board member who lives nearby will be checking it out again tomorrow.

A most handsome chap! Into rescue, and then right out again to a lovely home, is just brilliant - and really gives us all some hope and encouragement, doesn't it?
