TURNS OUT SHE LIED........

According to the Johnson City
Police, Thomas admitted she “made the story up because she had left the
dogs unattended and had not been caring for the dogs properly.“ She has
also been charged with animal cruelty!!!!

How horrible. I hope the dogs are found alive. I have a feeling they won't be though. So very sad. It also pisses me off they got such low bail. This kind of behavior will never stop until there are harsher penalties.

Welcome to TN...not the first thing to make me sick about the state I live in.

There was a English Mastiff local that was abandoned by his owners and then executed on his own property. Also made me sick, we were so close to getting him into rescue.

I wonder if someone really broke in?????? Maybe someone did break in and steal the dogs because they knew they were being abused or maybe they were just trying to get sympathy or money donated to them. Johnson City, TN is pretty rural, and there are quite a few rednecks in the area.

What sucks too is that there are caring individuals out there who wanted to help get the dogs back and only to be suckered by a lie. There are some comments on the bottom of the article that are encouraging the reporter to keep on this story and get down to the bottom of the story.
