Did anyone submit stories for a Happy Tails Rescue book?

PugSavers has been solicited by someone trying to get people to submit stories for a book they are putting together. They say that they will take the story, put it in their book and then give some money to the rescues. They brag that from another book they did they gave $4000 to 36 rescues which is only $111 per rescue so I'm not that thrilled with the potential return.

Just wondering if anyone had any experience with these folks.

No experience at all, but we got the solicitation as well. Not at all sure if this is legit, but nothing jumped out at me.

The person who contacted me was named Kyra--and it was done by email.

Yup...same person as contacted us (several times now). I'm not inclined to give them any of our stories...I'd rather put them out in our own book.

I've also been contacted, and I am ignoring it. They want to make money off our stories, no thanks.

We've received a few requests from them for stories, we've just ignored them.

I agree, with all the rescues off this site, we could do our own book, and then rescue more!! I have 8 rescues, how many more do we have.....lets have a count!
