One week later my foster is doing amazing.

I can't even begin to tell you all the firsts she has had, she just gets better and more secure everyday.
I am worried that whom ever adopts her will have to start all over again how do you know they are going will do right by them.

snuggling with Rupert

all three

Vivian has tried to get her to play, super big step for Viv, unfortunately she has no clue what that is.

She is such a different pug that came here just one week ago. I felt like crying when she started playing with a stuffed toy.

Her world gets better and better every day. Thanks for fostering her. I love when the fosters play with a toy for the first time. It is just amazing.

It would probably be good for her to go to a home where there was at least one other pug. It seems that so many of the puppymill pugs find comfort in the other dogs which helps when going into a new home.

Yes, I have recommended that, she needs the company, I think it makes her feel more secure.

Awww, Donna! Of course you are doing right by her, just think about how far she has come in such a short time being in a loving home. She'll be fine once a family comes along. There will always be an adjustment period while a pug learns a new household routine, but that is for any pug-not just a puppymill pug.

YAY for your little foster girl and yay for you. Most do have some adjustments in a new home, but most don't backslide that much. It's surprising to me how adaptable pugs are--even the ones from really hideous backgrounds.

You guys have really helped me with her, it's nice to know I have somewhere to go when I didn't know what I was doing.
She is happily sleeping belly up on the futon snoring her little head off.
The adoption coordinator said someone might be calling me about adopting her.Yay, I hope it works out.

What an amazing and wonderful turn-around! She's obviously a very sweet girl (and what a face!) and just wants to be loved. You're doing a great job with her!
