Is there a pug rescue in maryland?
Ive looked online, I got my darlin at a place called just puppie but my mother wants to rescue a pug, she has a Chihuahua that is about 12 years old and doesnt think he will be around much longer. He was my 1st dog and then when I moved out I left him there pretty much I was scared to take care of and elder dog. She has always loved pugs and I didnt tel her about ollie until the day I came home with her. She feel in love. Id like to get her a love pug for her birthday in april and would rather rescue instead of a puppy since my mother is older and wouldnt want her to go through the house training and puppy stage

Good for you for wanting to go with rescue. I'm not sure about Maryland rescues, but there are a bunch of Maryland folk around here, so someone will pop up with an answer.

Im surely hopeing I looked online but all the ones Ive found have a website that isnt up anymore. And anyone in maryland who has a pug that goes to the doggie parks let me know i went once and it was only big dogs. Now ollie bestfriend is a staffy BUT he is very lovey with ollie like shes his girlfriend, theyve been together since we brought her home. I would like her to also play with her fellow pugs. There is a guy around our neightborhood that has a pug and Ive taken ollie by his male pug but the owner doesnt seem like he is interested with have a pug play date. She has all of her shots and is fixed she just needs a "her size" friend lol

Try Midatlantic Pug Rescue at www.midatlanticpugrescue.org
However, your mom would need to be the one to fill out the application and provide information since she will be the new home for the pug. Good luck and thank you for thinking of a rescue. I will never buy from a pet store again since I learned where pet store pets come from.
