Bark in the Park pics

Post  Saira on 3/6/2010, 4:18 pm

We had an event today put on by the city. It's always fun! Here are a few pics-I brought Indy since last year I tried to bring Sophie but all she did was bark at the big dogs.

You guys know this pretty girl, it's Gracie from Merced! Dawn adopted her:

This is Buddy now known as Sunny, he was the one who was surrendered at Pug O Rama:

This is his brother Snort, one of my favorite pugs!

Indy:

Not pugs...
We were next to Bassett Rescue:

This one was up for adoption, she was so cute:

Fly ball!

This little guy did the training! LoL

He must be doing something right!

Dawn's Elliot, I love him-he was rescued with another pug she pulled from a CA shelter (George).

Great pics!! What is it about pugs and bassetts? We are often right by bassett rescue at events as well. there's one old gal, Petula, who comes to all the events and yodels and yodels. always wears a straw hat.

We are almost always by Basset and the Saint Bernard Rescues. We are good friends with both, and it always makes me laugh because the bassets start barking at the saints, and the pugs start barking when the bassets bark.

Looks like you guys had fun! Indy's looking very introspective there. The bassets are cute too, and it must be interesting being with both them and the St. Bernards. Looks loud!

Thanks, Jana! I have been trying very hard to only shoot in manual mode, this was a practice event for me! Very Happy
