Kashi will be trying out a new home...

Post  Maryjo on 3/7/2010, 1:41 am

Kashi will finally try out a new home tomorrow (Sunday). I took her to Vickie's tonight, and Vickie will take her over. Wish her luck!

Kashi has had a couple adoptions fall thru, let's hope this one doesn't.

We'll miss the little bugger, but my gang is breathing a sigh of relief that the noisy one is gone. LOL

Here she is telling off Moose:

And here is Sherman (my other foster, on left. He goes in for knee surgery on Tuesday), always trying to get Kashi to play tug-o-war. Kashi will play, but then they BOTH get mad because the other won't give up the toy. Silly pugs!

Oh MJ, it is always bittersweet when they leave. You've had Kashi quite a while. I bet it will be strange to have her gone. I hope this adoption goes through for her.

So....ya gonna take on Rowdy??

Good luck to Kashi.

MJ, why do her adoptions fall through?

The first person who wanted her suddenly (after a month of waiting for her to get her dog neutered), wanted Bethel, or Rowdy, she got flakey... The second person lied on her app.

I haven't heard from Vickie, so I don't know yet how this home visit went...

We've learned to not wait any more, we've learned a lot with Kashi. LOL

Fingers crossed (along with toes and paws) that Ms. Kashi has found the perfect forever home. Maryjo, you are one of the special people in the world. Your heart must be the size of Alaska.

Here is the 'update' email I got from Vickie this morning:

Home visit went very well. They have a nice place. Zeus (their dog) is a nice dog. Neither dog seemed to care that the other was there. They ate treats together and chewed on chewies. There is a giant beanbag in the middle of the floor and Kashi was queen of the hill! She would run around and jump up on it play bowing and wiggling her little butt! She didn't even follow me to the door when I left she was too busy playing!

So that makes me happy, let's hope this one sticks!

MJ - great update. I always love when Vickie sends an update about how the pug is doing in their new home.
