BG's 4th acupuncture session

Post  papaspugs on Tue Mar 09, 2010 11:13 am

BG went for her 4th acupuncture session yesterday. The last time we went was in Dec and we were just supposed to go for 4-6 weeks, but it is getting harder and harder to get in with the holistic vet. She is booked about 6 weeks out so I can't drop the ball on making appointments from now on. On the way over there, BG had to ride in her car seat vs sitting in my lap and she was so mad.She was huffing and puffing at me. Baby Girl was also so gasy that Dr. B wants me to start giving her 1 teaspoon of plain yogurt a day. BG basically pooted the entire 30minutes non-stop. LOL!

She looks so relaxed in that pic! Hope the yogurt does the trick. My girls get some daily and I must say Pug-farts (or at least MALODOROUS Pug farts.....) don't happen.

Jana, how on earth do you get her to stand still? Kayla HATED accupuncture - she fussed and figeted the entire time. Hence the reason we've stopped doing the sessions.

I hope Baby Girl has some relief from yesterday's session. And hopefully her gassy belly gets better!!

Rachel, Chyna does fine with her acupuncture. Sometimes she tries to move a little too much so I just make sure and hold her tighter. It really has made a difference with her mobility. Chyna doesn't toot while getting hers, but due to her spinal issues, she usually craps on my in the car or as soon as we walk into the front area at the vet's office. I always have a poop bag ready.
