Pug in TN Shelter
If I can convince John to go get this poor guy on Friday can any rescues take him or could someone get to him sooner? John's off Friday and I can't take off work tomorrow. That eye looks pretty bad and it's just breaking my heart :(

Uh, yeah, that eye looks bad! They don't even mention the freaking eye in thier description of him. I can only hope that little guy is getting some medical attention!

Poor little guy! I hope you can spring him, Amber and get him into rescue.

I noticed that :( Usually when it's that bad they at least mention it.
Re: Pug in TN Shelter
I'm bumping this back up. I e-mailed Music City Pug Rescue but haven't heard back yet.
Re: Pug in TN Shelter
I wish I'd known yesterday afternoon, might have been able to help. I'm back to work today after several days off.

Ok heard back from MCPR and they are full and can't take him. Anybody else out there interested in a soon-to-be one eyed pug if I can get him sprung?

Yeah I didn't see it until last night right before I posted. Any chance you'd want to foster him???

I understand. I can't do it either b/c John gets too attached and 4 dogs is my LIMIT!!

I don't know that we have room either. We are boarding dogs as it is.

Thanks for chiming in Brenda. I understand that it's a tough time for rescue right now. I just feel for this little guy, I know he has to be in pain
Re: Pug in TN Shelter
Sometimes I really wish I lived in the states....not exactly feasable to drive from AK down there to get the poor baby!
Re: Pug in TN Shelter
Amber, did you call and see if he's still available? I am having our intake person call and check on his status.

I've often thought that, Reneé... I want to establish a pipeline to help some of the over-burdened rescues with too many pugs. We always have extra apps, and not enough pugs.
Re: Pug in TN Shelter
oh poor lil man :\
I hope that he will get the medical attention and love he needs!

Ginger I don't know anyone with MAPR! I really need to make a friend over there
Re: Pug in TN Shelter
MAPR - ask Marci, she has friends.
(oh, and I butt dialed you on my new phone the other day - sorry. And immediately thought of Marci. Will have to put my own number first in the directory).

LOLOL yes I figured when it hung up quickly you didn't really mean to call me. Although you should call me sometime, I'd love to chat
