I just emailed a couple of my MAPR contacts. I know it's not the right people, but I hope they can forward to whoever IS the right person!

Just caught this - fingers and toes and paws crossed that the little guy gets rescued and finds the perfect forever home.

Uh oh... the link no longer works. I'm not sure if that's a really good thing or a really bad thing.

Poor little guy! I wish I could help in some way. I'm too far away and I'm broke, but I have time if you need someone to help coordinate.

I've often thought that, Reneé... I want to establish a pipeline to help some of the over-burdened rescues with too many pugs. We always have extra apps, and not enough pugs.

EXACTLY! How can we do this? I always feel like we can help more.

Well I'm gonna have to hope it's a really good thing. He hadn't been up for adoption long so that's a positive.

I am sorry I am kinda forced to be out of the loop right now. I have contacts at MAPR, so if needed let me know. Melinda used to be the coordinator, but resigned her position. I do have the new email somewhere if needed. I have Melinda's phone number, so if need be she will refer me to the right person. Just call me Amber if you need too.

I have stopped even looking...on purpose. We are both unemployed and we do not need to take on anything extra right now.

I'd happily volunteer to fly pugs to Alaska!

I understand and am the same way but for different reasons - I'm still empoyed but looking at the listings makes me sad + tends to add some marital difficulties. I only saw this poor guy b/c I was on there looking for dogs for my friend (the one who I sent a link to Holly about). I told her she was getting me into trouble!! LOL!

I was just looking at petfinder and I believe that an all breed rescue called Kimbers Kritters got this boy. They had his eye removed.
