The Husky Mama Arrived...

Remember me asking you all about bringing in a pregnant husky mix? She had her babies in Bethel, and then was flown to Anchorage. 4 babies 8 days old yesterday. 1 female, 3 males.

The mom is a tiny little thing. She is living in a quiet room at the doggy day care. I got to see her last night when I dropped of a BT that was an owner-surrender.

The girls taking care of her named her Sandy.


She only weighs about 30 lbs.

Sandy (mom) was upside-down feeding them until I came in. She isn't scared, as this photo suggests, she was just curious.


I don't remember all their names, but one is named Bob Seger. LOL

All are over a pound. Which we think means they are very healthy.

Hopefully the pups and mom won't be hard to adopt out. At least she and the pups are getting great care now.

they are all precious! I'm glad they are doing well, and hope you can find good homes for them.

What a pretty girl Momma is! I can't figure out what else she has in her besides husky. The pups are precious! I hope they all get great homes.

Sandy is beautiful, I love her eyes. And all her pups are precious, I hope they all find great forever homes.

Awe, I met them when I went in to get Daisy. The momma, Sandy, is a very sweet dog. She wasn't shy or skittish at all. She came right out and let me pet her. From what I could see, she is a great mom.

I'm sure her babies will find wonderful homes, and who knows, maybe someone will adopt a mom and baby combo.

So, do tell about the BT. I haven't heard about this one. Do all the rescues come in when Vickie is out of town?? LOL

What a lovely dog she is! Her eyes are amazing and her puppies are adorable. I'm glad she wound up with your rescue organization.
