Dogs in Wheelchairs

Post  TxAllieGrl on 4/24/2010, 9:43 pm

Ok, so I'm not a JLo fan, and I have little intention of seeing her new movie "The Backup Plan".

until I saw this blog:

http://blogs.chron.com/apetschronicle/2010/04/dog_in_wheelchair_stars_with_j.html

It sounds like it has a message about puppy mills, rescue, etc. and features a dog in a wheelchair (though portrayed by able-bodied-dogs).

Interesting!

I saw that! I'm glad the message is getting out. I'll bet there are people who didn't even know they had wheelchairs for dogs. now they know there's an option and don't have to put the doggie down.

Personally I can't stand J Ho...I had a client who was one of her music producers and if you heard what she REALLY sounded like without autotune you would be amazed at how bad it was but I DID go see the movie yesterday.

Her character owns a Pet store that she says she bought because she bought Nuts, her BT from a pet store and 6 months later he was sick and it turned out that he came from a puppymill. So she leaves the corporate world and buys the pet store. BUT the negatives are she has Caesar "The Dog Abuser" there to do a book signing and also in one of ths shots it shows she has puppies for sale in the store. The story does not address the issue.
