Asian Dog Bed.

Check out the rescue's latest raffle item. La-Di-Da. Lola, of course, wants to know what an item clearly designed for a higher order breed like a pomeranian is doing being raffled off for a bunch of scruddy pugs.....

Apparently it weighs a ton. No clue how we got our mitts on it. I think someone donated it to us.

Beautiful bed, it would be wasted on my pugs, they'd just pee on it!

Wow, that bed is gorgeous!! Would they be able to ship it to the US if we bought tickets & actually won? Just wondering since you said that it's so heavy.

Beats me, but I'll ask about that. I know that we haven't brought it to any events because it's so heavy.

Cute, but Tilly doesn't use dog beds. She thinks they are for "dogs"!

Here's what our raffle coordinator said about the bed:
"It is red and black with an
antique gold stain, the picture doesn't to it justice. It measures
23inches wide by 27inches in length and 18 inches at the highest point
on the headboard. The mattress was just plain cotton so I recovered it
in a black and gold dot upholstery fabric I'm going to add a satin
brocade bolster pillow. It's also very heavy and I had to put the back
seats down in the PT to get it home.

It will be the winners responsibility to make arrangements to get it to their home."

It sounds to me like it would be prohibitively expensive to ship it--you'd have to deal with a trucking company or a courier, I imagine and I'm not sure if there would be customs on it or not......

That's what I figured. It sure is beautiful. Whoever wins it will be very lucky!
