Bulldog rescue

Post  sallyandtilly on 5/11/2010, 8:15 am

My younger daughter has always wanted an English bulldog. A few weeks ago one of her coworkers offered her one free. This woman was divorced and left with three children including a special needs child. She couldn't take care of Otis anymore and he looked like he needed TLC. Stacie took him to an eye specialist where he was diagnosed with dry eye. Other than that he seems to be healthy. Meet my newest grandpuppy: (This is a terrible photo of him, taken at his previous home.)

He is gorgeous! Can he hear? I know several almost-all-white bulldogs and every single one of them is deaf!

What a handsome man...and I'm sure your daughter will have him all spiffied up, and his eyes taken care of too. It is so sad when life's difficulties get in the way, and our animals suffer.

He kind of reminds me of Penny's bulldog boyfriend who used to live in the next building - Frank the Tank. Handsome boys, both Frank and Otis. I do love bulldogs. Bless your daughter for giving you a new granddog.

I can't see the picture, but I am sure he is handsome. We have been in Myrtle Beach where we saw 6 english bulldogs at the rv campground. Three of them were white. I'm currently babysitting my brother's english bulldog Willow who is the brindle color. She is very sweet and gentle.
