My latest foster - pics

Post  Brenda on 6/1/2010, 11:30 am

I just can't believe no one's been interested in this adorable little guy! I mean, I know he's not a pure pug, but he's just so cute and such a great dog! I have yet to figure out what he's mixed with. Any ideas? He's like the opposite of a pug, black with fawn instead of fawn with black. His undercoat has a lot of fawn in it. Sometimes I think beagle as he sniffs everything, and wants to try to track everything, but he certainly doesn't look like a puggle.

He's just such a cutie to me!

OMG - he is adorable!! Sometimes the cutest little dogs come in...and they take forever to get adopted. It is like that with my Daisy. I cannot believe she has not been snatched up!

Maybe your little guy is mixed with a very small husky, can't remember the name of the breed, but we have a small husky in rescue right now, she's only about 30 pounds.

He's adorable! I agree with Renee, there have often been times when the cutest dogs take forever to get adopted, and I have no idea why! Someone from one of the CA rescues sent me her blog and she has a pug who reminded me of your foster-I had to send her the link to SEPRA.

Saira, what's the link to her blog? I'd like to see hers too.

Someone else mentioned a husky, are there really smaller ones?

Alaskan Kleekai. (I have 2 clients that have them - the ONLY reason I would know this.)

Brenda - there really are smaller huskies. Most people think of them as very large, but in fact, to me, they look smaller, more wolf like. Some of the bigger ones are actually Malamutes.

Thanks Lisa - that is what I was thinking. Duh, I should have known the name, since we have one in rescue right now that is a mix.

Wow! He looks just like Rocky!! And Rocky loves a good belly run too.

Rachel, his personality is pretty puggish. When we first got him he was a little dominant, but he's mellowed out a lot.

Brenda, he's really cute!
What's his story?

Pretty amazing resemblance to the little guy in CA rescue, too.
