Fish - Raw or cooked?

I have some frozen fish I would like to feed to the puggies. So...do you feed it raw? Or poach it? It's catfish.

I don't generally feed raw fish. There's been some hoo-ha about parasites in certain types of raw fish from the Pacific Northwest that are fatal to dogs. I poach it or use well rinsed canned.

Send it here--I dearly love catfish!!

No joke - I love catfish too....but, DH does not like it, and neither do the kiddos...so, their loss is a pugs gain, I guess.

I'll just lightly poach or bake it for their dinner tomorrow night.

Sounds like your home is the mirror image of mine. Neither husband nor son will eat any kind of fish and they gripe about the smell if I make it for myself.
