Matilda's test results

Post  akc0104 on 6/22/2010, 8:58 pm

She continues to be my little medical mystery dog. The tick titers showed no exposure to any of the diseases except lyme disease. On a scale of 0-4 with 0 being no exposure, she tested at 1. That means she's had exposure and has antibodies in her blood but isn't high enough to definitively indicate disease. A dog that's been vaccinated against lyme would show at this same level as Matilda.

So... she's going back in on Tuesday for another checkup and blood counts. In the meantime, she's 100% normal. In fact, she's the beastliest version of Matilda.

I'm glad she's acting like her normal self, but I also wish you had some answers

Trust a pug to make things twice as complicated and mysterious as they can be....

Glad she's not ailing, however.

Sorry you don't have more answers but glad she's feeling better! It's so odd how it (whatever it is) comes on then goes away so quickly.

I'm glad that she is back to herself, and the mystery deepens. Maybe the rest of the blood work will show a clue.

Well, good that she is feeling better....but poo on no answer! It's rough when symptoms come and go, with no apparent trigger. It takes that much longer to figure them out.

I hope her blood works turns up some answers.

I'm glad she's feeling better, but it must be frustrating not getting any answers. And scary wondering when the next episode is going to happen. I hope they figure it out soon, and that it's easily managed.
