To worry or not???
Jack has this pimple issue going on. Normally, I wouldn't be concerned because it would just go away and life would go on. Well...this pimple (if that's what it is) isn't going away and it's getting worse. Part of the problem is Jack folds his upper lip into his mouth and I think it's adding pressure to the area and that's why it's not healing. I'm worried that he's going to pop it, or when he's playing with Murphy it will pop. Is there anything I can do? Should I be concerned?
Thanks!

Thanks!

Probably nothing to really worry about but if it's been hanging about this long I would have the vet take a look.

I would suggest Malaseb wipes but you can't get them any more. Somewhere on here is a thread suggesting alternatives. I know Stridex is one suggestion. If Thurston gets these, I use Malaseb and they clear up pretty quickly. You don't want this one to get infected of abscess.

When Wally's acne got bad, the vet put him on a course of antibiotics and it cleared and hasn't *knock wood* returned. I was also happy to know that's what it was and not some other kind of bump.

I am having the same issue with Viv, she gets adult acne once and a while but this last ones has been on her lip forever, I did take her to the vet and she said it did not seem like anything to be worried about but if I was really concerned the only way to do a biopsy was to put her under.
It's been a few months now and it has gone down a lot so I am not as worried, plus where it is on his lip he is constantly licking them and keeping it moist so it might take extra long to go away.
I would just keep an eye on it and if you do have to go to the vet have them check it out.
