Pippin on TV again.
Pip and I were up bright and early to be on the CP24 Breakfast Show. He did really well. The interviewer, Steve Anthony, is a bit of a twit, but Pippin didn't care.

He'll get a good home. I won't settle for anything but the best for him.

I thought you were older. Like a little old lady (one of the sassy ones like on golden girls). Don't kill me! haha
And he can come live in Alberta with three sassypants girls if he wants

Mel, he used to be a VJ on MuchMUsic in the early days and he still fancies himself a "with it" young thing. He wasn't too bad this time, but I've done the show where he's just embarrassing.Mel wrote:MandyPug wrote:You don't look anything like i pictured!

I used to love Steve Anthony! Like 20 years ago.
Pippin did great! Especially in that open newsroom where I'm sure there's lots to be distracted by.

Pippin is too cute! Even though I'll miss seeing & hearing about him (unless his new family joins here! haha), I hope that he finds the perfect home soon.

So cute! I would certainly think he'd get lots of calls after being such an adorable boy on TV. I hope so.

LOL. Well, old is a relative thing. I'm 54. And my aboriginal side has saved me from having much grey hair--although I have quite a bit.MandyPug wrote:northernwitch wrote:So.....how did you picture me?

Re: Pippin on TV again.
He is really bad at the news and generally can't string together a sentence. And he often has on clothing that is wildly too young for him. The last time I was on the Breakfast Show he compared pugs to ticks!! Never did get that one. His brother has a pug and a peke, apparently.akc0104 wrote:I used to love Steve Anthony! I do alot of TV with CP24--this morning show and Animal House Calls. It's full of 20 somethings all dressed in outrageous clothing and high, high heels--and most of them don't know how to walk in them. It still likes to think of itself as the avant garde station--which it hasn't been for years.
However, the last time I was down there with Theo, I met Katie Perry--well, Theo met her. She wasn't much interested in me. But I got high marks and much envy from my son for having laid eyes on Katie Perry. He'd like to have "laid" some things on her himself.....

Yeah, my son would be all over her too.
Blanche, I adore Pippin. NB is a really great place to raise a pug...*hint hint*
You look great by the way! I've seen pictures of you before, but for 54 you look pretty darn good!

Great interview, I thought the guy was just silly over Pippin so that wasn't too bad. I just love that boy. He is so sweet.

Oh blech. Tell me he didn't use the phrase "full as a tick". My Mom uses that and it grosses me out. Though in that context, considering how pugs are about food, I could (I suppose) make the connection.
