So why was he turned in??

Post  Maryjo on 8/14/2010, 10:54 pm

OK, I had to take pics of a handsome little Min Pin who'd been turned into our rescue on Thursday. His name is Bruno, he's 5 years old, he is healthy, very kid-friendly, Likes playing with other dogs, is sweet and want nothing more than to please his human....

While I took his pic, he sat so pretty for it:

Vickie, who was helping me take pics, moved her arm to the left, and suddenly he fell over on his side. WTF?? We looked at each other. He got up, and Vickie went "bang" pointing her finger at him like a gun. He fell over again! This wonderful guy knows tricks! *LOL* His foster mom is trying to see what other tricks he's learned.

Here is Bruno playing dead:

Why, oh why, does someone turn in such a perfect dog? I forgot to ask Vickie his story, but I'll see what she found out from the former owner.

If I remember right...he was sprung from the pound, but I don't know why.

I love Bruno. I got to cuddle with him the night before, and he is super smart. He'll make a great dog for someone...

I like his little chunky body too. I know, he should be more slender, but he's darn cute to me.

He's gorgeous! I want him. How strange that he ended up where he is.

The site that hosts my pics is being worked on this weekend. I guess they'll be back on Monday.

Can't wait to see his pics, and he sounds like the perfect little boy. I don't understand people. The stories I hear every day are enough to make my hair curl. Thank Dog for rescues and no-kill shelters!

I feel the same way about BJ. It's obvious he was loved AT ONE TIME. Makes you wonder what happened in between that home and ours.

I saw the pix last night before I replied and he really IS adorable! I've never seen a Min-Pin with cropped ears.

That's the norm here in the USA... Dobermans, Great Danes, Boxers, Mini Pins, etc... I hate it and I hope someday it gets outlawed, meanwhile, they get their ears cropped.

He is cute, those ears look way more "cropped" then what I've seen though. I hope he finds a new home soon!

Interesting about the cropped ears. It's illegal here in the UK, as is docking tails now (except in certain circumstances for working dogs).

He is adorable! I have an idea - let's find the owners and crop their ears!
