Poor guy - his situation is sad, but glad that he got the surgery and it seemed to go well! Can't wait to see pics.

Yes, it was his hips, not his back-he had severe hip dysplasia. Our guess was some sort of trauma was involved as well, and he had no treatment so it kept getting worse because he could barely move. The vet actually said post surgery he seems to be in less pain than he was before which is really really sad.

How sad that the pain of surgery recovery is preferable to the pain he was enduring for months before.

People suck!

But, rescue people RULE, and I hope this little guy gets the wonderful home he deserves.
