Pics of Van

Post  Saira on 8/19/2010, 11:11 pm

Here are a few pics of Van, the little guy who needed surgery. He is doing good, he seems awfully sweet. He's charmed the vet staff too-I posted on facebook, and our vet's office said they love him, they said he is "pure love." These pugs always amaze me. Van is hitting me hard because Indy came from a similar situation-not turned into the shelter, thank god, but had severe hd and was soooo sad. We hope he will be able to go to a foster home by early next week. So far, it looks promising that he will be able to walk on his own, albeit with a funny walk. He's beautiful!

My heart is just breaking for him. I know that he is sad now and probably in pain, but puggie prayers for a speedy recovery and a forever home.

I agree with the others that I can't wait to see a happy expression on his face. He is absolutely adorable. And BTW, is it just me or is his tail extremely long??

Yeah I thought so too! Diana said he was giving her and her nephew (the kiddo in the pics) kisses.

He does have a long tail! But, I bet when he's happy and pain free, it will curl very nicely!!

Saira - I sent my donation in. Will it go directly to Van? I didn't get to type in his name or anything....so I'm not sure how it works.

I read Van's story in the other post. Love his sweet, sad looking face. I pray that he heals quickly and will be able to walk at least fairly good. Then in the not to distant future he will be ready for a forever home and have a "happy face." hug dog

One of the vet techs just posted a picture of him on our fb page and that she loves him and it does not appear he is lacking for attention at the vet's office. Very Happy He is a special guy!

Renee, right now all our remaining money will be going to his surgery!
