Happy happy day

Jasmine, the Boston Terrier (or Terror), urinated blood over the weekend & there was no way to get her to the ER. Even if we'd gone, I had no idea of her medical history (she's a rescue but been here 5 years). Now she's on six different medications, incl. Prednisone. Anyway, at the vet's this a.m., the vet was afraid she might have crystals so she had an x ray and believe it or not, she doesn't have crystals! Both the vet and I (plus Jasmine) were thrilled with that diagnosis. I found she had a UTI 5 years ago which I had completely forgotten but the vet was afraid with that background, she might have more problems. Anyway, she's on a two week regime of Clavamax and already seems perkier. And the best news yet. The skinny little girl had gained .14 oz. since we were there 3 weeks ago! She's now up to 13.6....All our eyes bulged when we saw the number. Other than losing 4 friends this past week to death, my life seems so much 'better'.

Oh gosh !!! That is a happy day that Jasmine has something treatable. How fantastic, you must feel so relieved.
