Pippin has left the building.

Post  northernwitch on 8/27/2010, 9:10 pm

My foster boy, Pippin, after almost 7 months in foster care has gone to his forever home. He's living about 90 minutes away with a great family and a 3 year old pug sister named Roxanne--Roxy for short. He thought she was great. She thought he was touching too much of her stuff! AND he pooped on the second floor--of course.

I made a little Good bye tribute to him ( I need to edit these things more carefully!) :

Exactly what I was thinking!!

Good luck Pippin in your new home! You've had a wonderful start during foster care, and you'll do wonderful in your new house.

What a journey it's been with this boy, and he couldn't have been on it with a better foster mum. Happy rest-of-your-LONG-life, little guy. You hit the jackpot in foster homes and I think you've hit the jackpot in forever homes. hug dog

Love the photos, Blanche! hug dog

Blanche, you amaze me with your almost magical foster mom skills. You have done so much for Pippin. Sending hugs to his new fursister - she will need them! Rona's right, he sure hit the jackpot in foster homes.

Congratulations to Pippin and his new home. I'll bet it was hard to let him go, you did so much for him.

I think one of my favorite pictures ever is Pippin hanging his head and front paws over the step with Tank & Hazel in the background. hug dog
