A few of our incomings

Post  Saira on 9/4/2010, 4:08 pm

I thought I'd introduce you to a few, they are all soo cute! This is Chester, he is a 10 year old who was dumped for a new puppy. He had been in the same home his whole life. So, grrr.

This is Benny, he was going to be euthanized for "bad eyes"-I just talked to our vet a few minutes ago and said his eyes are just normal pug eyes, he did have a bit of an eye infection but now he is good to go, he doesn't even need prescription drops. I LOVE his face.

These 2 are from Utah, they were a breeding pair and were being kept outside. There was lady there who rescued them but had nowhere for them to go. Otis:

Sandra:

It's so frustrating because we are getting so many surrenders, and it's still so hot here we can't do outside events. The events really help us get pugs adopted since once you see them, you fall in love. I am hoping for cool weather SOON!

I saw the pics on FB.

And, I just realized Otis and Sandra....like from Milo & Otis.

They are adorable.

I will pray for some cooler weather. Too bad you can't have an event indoors.

They are beautiful Saira hug dog Bless you and your group for taking them in. Poor Sandra looks like she could use an eight cup bra Shocked Maybe a little nip and tuck when she gets spayed, lol? Just kidding. I do have a call in to Kasi and am waiting to hear back from her. Hopefully CO Pug Rescue will be able to help with the others in UT. I'll gladly send you my cold weather here so you can have some events outdoors.

Thanks Trish! I know, poor Sandra must be so uncomfortable. They are both so young too, I think only about 2, just babies. Poor little things, they looked so sad, with their tails down.

Look at those faces! Glad to know they are safe with you guys. Frustrating to hear the reasons why they are surrendered or in the shelter. Hopefully it cools down soon!

No need to fight, ladies. The Benny auction will commence soon.
Just pop Chester in a postbag and send over here please.

Glad that Sandra and Otis now have something of a better life to look forward to than being puppy machines.

I got an update from Chester's foster mom (for those of you who know, Brinkman is his foster brother. Very Happy ). Anyways, she said he is a gem of a pug, just the sweetest guy who already learned the doggy door and gets along with everyone. He enjoys walks and he flops over for a belly rub.

Ahhhhh what beautiful faces !!!!!

I would really really love to foster, but if I ever foster a pug, he/she would never be able to leave my house hahaha. Those faces are just too precious.

I am sure as soon as they are vetted, they will go fast...
CFPR was at PETCO yesterday my 10 yr old Chaplin, who has been with me since nov. got a positive application on him and my 2 year old Hunter who has only been with me about 2 weeks got a positive application on him also.... there were a few others also....

I love Petco days.... we have never gone home with out at least an interst in one of the guys.

We have 26 avaiable guys at the moment... that doesn't include the inwaiting and hospice ones.

I agree - the reasons for them being up for adoption is so lame! How could anyone give up a FAMILY MEMBER after 10 years for a puppy? And to give up on YOUR CHILD because his eyes are "bad"???? rant

At least now they will find someone who deserves them!
