Check out the ears on this guy!

This is Jax, one of NIPRA's foster puppies.



His foster mom sent over this new picture of him and those ears just crack me up every time that I look at it. He came to us from a local shelter where he was picked up as a stray. We think that he's probably less than a year old and a terrier mix because he's got long legs & goes, goes, goes like the Energizer bunny! We're having a hard time finding a home for him though because he's a mix. Hopefully someone will fall for that cute face & those crazy ears soon.

Oh man--those ears are GREAT! Almost papillon ish. Fingers crossed for a good home for this little man.

You know, for a mix, he's pretty stinkin cute! I dont' generally think mixes are very good looking (but Brenda's foster is super cute too!).

Helpful hint: When it is hard to find homes for them, keep getting new pics to put on the site. For some reason, it seems to help.

Those ears are great! Sending good thoughts that someone gets trapped by those ears soon and gives him a good forever home.

O wow! Yes, some terrier or possibly Griffon in his mix seems likely.

I would certainly expect a manic persona to match those ears and hope the right family ends up with him! Hugs to him.

I thought of Walter when I saw this picture! I don't know if anyone here knew Stymie (he belonged to someone on another pug forum and passed away a few years ago), but he had those flying nun ears too. Gotta love 'em!

My Gracie's ears are like that. When you make funny sounds at her, they go up and down. She is hysterical! They will also move independently so one will go up and one down sometimes.

Well, now, those are Walter ears and then some. Surely someone with a thing for agility or fly ball would love to see this handsome child strut his stuff.

Yes he was. I'll never forget Kathie calling him her "tumor" at Pugtona (lovingly & jokingly, of course) because he was always attached to her.

On a side note, Jax was adopted recently. His new family includes a couple of young kids to run & play with him, so he's happily living it up.
