LoL yeah she looks adorable! I guess she is tiny 16 pounds but the vet said she needs to be down to 14-she has LP but he thinks surgery can be avoided if we get the weight off of her!

But, I saw the pics of Puggy (original name there. Rolling Eyes )...he is a handsome old man!

Puggy is a great old man! His foster said he is doing great.

Here are the other 2 from Lied. Yankee is the black boy and Dex is the fawn. Both are apparently very sweet and playful. Yankee and Junebug were owner surrenders (grr) and Dex was a stray.

So, what's the deal - what was the owner surrender excuse?

Of course, they are all just adorable. I hope Pug O Rama gets a lot of applications in for you guys.

I suspect Junebug's owners dumped her because of her LP issues, but no official reason was given for either one. Yankee and Dex were deemed unadoptable because both had horrible ear infections and Yankee looks like he might have something going on with his eye. I am calling tomorrow for an update on all of them!

Three very sweet puggies who are so lucky that SNPR is there! Fingers crossed for Yankee's eye, and many hopes that they all find the perfect furever homes.

Thanks everyone, we hope they find homes soon (or foster homes start falling from the sky. Very Happy ). I forgot to mention that while I was talking to the lady from the shelter, I asked about the puggles (we had the last chance hold on them and hadn't heard anything). I was kind of scared to ask because we have no room but of course we'd take them if we had to-but....they got adopted, together! excited

Are Junebug's nails as really as bad as they look in that pic? That was a pre-vet visit pic, yes?
Hugs to them all and especially to the fosterers and transporters and fund-raisers!

Yes, that was on the way to the vet. They were bad, she also has some sort of deformity on her paws-both her pinky equivalents are bent out so she walks funny-the paws are spread out. The long nails and LP don't help any either! They will be cutting those of course while she's at our vet. All the shelter ones get boarded for at least a few days-most have medical issues (the reason we get them!) and we also keep them to make sure everything is ok-the shelter doesn't have the greatest record with parvo, so we are extra careful.

Yeah I thought that was really a cute name! for her Beats me how someone can dump their dog, and one with medical issues, at that shelter, even CL would be better. ugh.

Our vet called-a 6 year old pug was brought in and diagnosed with bladder stones and the owners want to put him to sleep instead of surgery. Someone needs to make it stop raining pugs, at least for a few days. I think we'll be taking up all their boarding space this week. Laughing
