I do wonder how it was in the palace for her?

She is beautiful! And she is so lucky that you were there, Stace. We may all want to live in a palace (well, some of us), but Princess is proof that it's not the palace, it's the people. She is so tiny, too! She has hit the good life with a wonderful big brudder.

What a little doll! And what a lucky pug to have found her way out of that mess, and into your arms. Happy fostering!

Try a couple of different shapes - plates, pie dishes etc. and different materials - china, steel, tin etc. to see if you can work out what she is used to. Use the same word e.g. "dinner" every time you give it to her.
Eventually, she will understand that she is to eat out of whatever plate or dish you place in front of her.

Thanks sooooo much for that advice Angela....I bet she is used to Crystal, she's showing me her diva side just slightly now and then haha.

Leia is doing so so well, she's really come out of her shell alot. Her tail never stops wagging, and her face is so bright and cheery and happy.
Yoda is still being such a stinker, he gets over excited if she runs, so then he jumps around and on her, he won't let her play with his toys, and there is no point in me buying new toys, as Yoda will claim those too. I do hope this changes :(

We went for a lovely family walkies last night, it was so lovely having Leia waddle next to us, with Yoda in tow. Yoda walks better on his leash with Leia around haha.
She needs potty training, so we've started that too. She pooped outsie, but peed on that nice rug you like so much Tarrington hahahaha. That rug was peed and pooped on when we moved into this new place with Yoda, so after this round of peeing, its going bye bye !!!

The vet has estimated her to be about 4 yrs old.....what do you guys think???

Stace - she is ADORABLE! I'd say 4-5 is probably about right.

I agree - she probably isn't used to eating from a bowl. You can probably work with her - sit next to her with the bowl, put a few pieces on the ground, then in your hand, then lower and lower to the bowl until she figures it out. just be patient. (I know you will be!)
