A Great Week for DFW Pug Rescue!!

Just got the notice that we had 12 adoptions completed this week! Many of them were from applications that came in at Pugoween, and our tireless volunteers were able to do home checks and vet references in a week.
A great week for sure!!
Pugoween also brought in a lot of needed donations, and I'm so thankful that it was such as success. So many people worked so hard to pull this event off. And with nearly 1,000 people (!!!!!) and 400 pugs/friends, it was amazing.
Let's just hope those adoption and foster home applications keep coming in. There's never a shortage of pugs who need homes.

That's great news! And I finally remembered to take in the bar code for DFW to Kroger and have them link DFW to my Kroger card-apparently they will donate a small amount to DFW when I buy my groceries there.
