Things my dog eats...

An eventful morning with Violet today! I woke up to find she had got into the garbage and ingested a...ahem...maxi pad! TMI - I know... Anyway, I was home alone this morning, as Dave had to work and I called the vet and they said to bring her in to induce vomiting. When Dave got home about half an hour later, he brought her. I didn't have any hydrogen peroxide at home, so the vet gave her a morphine drop in her eye. That worked well and she vomited it all up. Thank God! The vet said there were some large pieces. My garbage is usually up on the back of the toilet, but our cleaning ladies had been in and put it on the ground. Oops! Guess I will have to be more attentive to that, despite my sleep deprivation.

I'm glad they got it out. That could have been a really bad thing.

Thurston LOVES my "dirty little secrets". I have a special lidded trash can next to the toilet for their disposal, but he has been known to rip open the bag that my cleaning lady uses to collect trash to get to the "goodies".

I'm glad Violet is ok. That type of stuff can really cause trouble.

Ugh, dogs and womanly products. I'm so glad she puked for the vet, I sure hope its all gone. I bet that was scary for you.

Ollie now has a taste for diapers now. She really likes Logan's poop diapers, pretty gross.
