Meet Sandy

Post  northernwitch on 1/22/2011, 7:49 pm

She's being fostered by Candace--supposedly a pug/peke, but I sure don't see anything but pug there!

She's a pretty girl! I don't see any Peke in here either, but Pugs and Pekes are so similar in many ways. I've seen a couple of shaved Pekes lately and am amazed how pug-like they are - except for the waddle.

If you compare her to a former foster, Rolly, who IS a pug/peke, you can really see the difference.....

Yeah, me too, Trish. Once we got past Christmas, we were able to re-open intake.

She's just darling. I love pekes. I grew up with them. If I could stand the grooming, I would get a peke.

She is sweet looking! Rosco has the same face as Rolly...but not the fur!

Glad to see that you are taking in more pugs. I still have Turbo and no hope in sight of finding him a good home. He still thinks he is a BIG dog and people want a passive pug Rolling Eyes

Good news that you are able to take in dogs again, Blanche. What a pretty girl Sandy is - and I can't see too much Peke there, either! Very Happy

Cute!

I was just on your website there and noticed the cross post for those pups... The little black girl! I want her... Too bad they're not allowing outsiders of ontario to adopt :(

Sandy reminds me of a Tibetan Spaniel cross - something about the head, front and those feet... possibly someone got their pekes and tibbies mixed up?

Sending good furever home vibes!
