What a cutie pie! If I wasn't all ready up to my eyeballs with a special needs dog I'd be adding MD to a state to come to live in.

Owner found!

Onyx's owner was found! Reneé and she got in contact today and I assume Onyx is now safe and sound at home!

UPDATE - her momma found her!

Yes, sorry - I forgot to post an update.

Onyx's real name is Chloe! Her mom was frantic looking for her, and so happy to see her. She even made a donation to Polar Pug Rescue, and thanked us for taking care of Chloe.

A happy ending.

I'm glad that her owner was found & they were reunited. What was the story behind her being out there on her own though? Ya know, inquiring minds and all! Wink

The story from the owner was that she was out and about (the owner), and when she got home, she was rushing inside so fast because she was about to pee her pants, she thought she slammed the door shut, but it didn't shut. While she was in the bathroom, both her dogs took themselves on a walk. She was able to find one of the dogs, but not Chloe. She was pretty mad at herself, and embarrassed.
