Five Wacky Years with Hazel

April 12th will be Hazel's 5th Gotcha Day. And it's been a trip (literally as well as figuratively). She's the Benjamin Buttons of pugs--aging in reverse.

She is a testament to why blind dogs shouldn't be pitied. And if she COULD see, she'd be too busy to live!

Happy Gotcha Day, Crazel! You're nuts, but we love you.

Blanche, what is it about you that you end up with the dogs that are TRUE characters? Ever since I've had the honour and delight of knowing you, every one of the dogs lucky enough to cross your threshold has had some quirk, some eccentricity, something that makes 'em stand out.... I guess you just attract 'em. Very Happy

I get a lot of teasing on our rescue forum for the fact that my dogs--permanents and fosters all seem to be "off plumb" in some way, shape or form. Don't know if they attract me, I attract them or there's something in my house--an 'oddness' miasma.

Tank and Theo are fairly normal, all things considered.

I know it isn't lead as we've had all our pipes replaced over the years.
