That poor pug. Please let SEPRA know. I hope he can be saved.

We just have no open foster homes! What about Alabama Pug Rescue?

Re: UPDATE Blind senior in Alabama kill shelter
I emailed the Alabama rescue. Their site said they are limiting intake. I asked that they let me know either way if they're able to help or not,so I can contact another group if they are unable to.

I haven't heard anything back from AL pug rescue. Does anyone have any connections with their volunteers?
Thanks,

I'm FB friends with someone from Alabama Pug Rescue (she's not on forums) and I left a message on her page and she is looking into it. Hopefully she'll be safe soon!!

Yay Rona! If your friend can pull her and hold for 24 -48 hours, chances are very high Lisa can organise transport and fostering.

Re: UPDATE Blind senior in Alabama kill shelter
We contacted the shelter who said she is not in danger and they are still trying to adopt her out. So, there's a chance she will get adopted from there.

That's good to know.
So if she passes their time limit for adoption and no one applies, will they contact you in that case?

UPDATING.
Brenda, I messaged Lisa to pass on what you had been told.
She's just let me know that she already had organised a Maryland rescue, who have a work link near to the Alabama shelter, to take it up with that shelter tomorrow.
Fast work!
I have Lisa on FB now so won't need to go via the other site.

Re: UPDATE Blind senior in Alabama kill shelter
I just received word from Pam Mayes of AL Pug Rescue. the shelter is working on placing the pug and if they are not able to,they will call Pam and they will go get her. The girl is in no danger of being put down. Pam asked that I let others know this. She also said they are overwhelmed as much as everyone else:(
Please pass this along and Thanks for everyone's help
